The Cardinal football team traveled to Breck High School for a non-district game against the Breck Mustangs on Friday, Sept. 8. Breck High School is located in Golden Valley, about 50 miles southeast of Annandale. It was a beautiful night for the game, and the stands were loaded with Cardinal fans. “Playing on the road at a private school usually has a quiet atmosphere with small crowds,” said Cardinal head coach Matt Walter. “Our fans provided loud cheers of support and lots of excitement.”
