The Cardinal football team traveled to the Spectrum Athletic Complex on Friday, Sept. 15, in Elk River. The Cardinals defeated the Sting 47-0. The Spectrum Sting came into the game 0-2 for the season. The Cardinals were 2-0. Annandale and Spectrum are in the East Central South District and are Class 3A teams.
