Brandon Riehm, 26, of Annandale broke the Irish Scamper course record on Saturday, March 13, with a time of 15:39.0 for first place out of 265 competitors. The three-mile road race is an annual part of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities and every year attracts hundreds of runners and walkers from around the state.
