Taking part in an interview before the holiday break in a quiet room just off the Media Center at Annandale High School, senior Ava Townsend smiles, nods and answers questions appropriately.
It is evident she is, however, mildly distracted. It’s hard not to be. Her fellow interviewee, Senior Bryan Martinez Mejia, is answering likewise, clearly, appropriately. They are both being interviewed for being selected as Minnesota High School League Triple A nominees for Annandale High School.
