Motion passed 6-0. i. Member Jones introduced the Re-authorization of the Board Approved Referendum. BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 876, State of Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Board has previously authorized a Board approved referendum authority in the amount of $19.35 per adjusted pupil unit pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 126C.17, Subd. 9a. That authority expires after taxes payable in 2019. The Board hereby reauthorizes that authority for five years, beginning with taxes payable in 2020. 2. The clerk is authorized and directed to submit a copy of the adopted resolution to the Minnesota Department of Education as soon as reasonably practicable after its adoption, but in no event later than June 30, 2019. Zabinski made a motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution. Duly seconded by Mealey. On a roll call vote, the following voted in favor: Jacobson, Jones, Mealey, Muehring-Paulson, Scheer, and Zabinski. The following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. j. A special board meeting was called to discuss progress the Facility Study will be on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at AES Office Conference room. k.
