NOTICE OF TOWNSHIP
ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of French Lake Township, County of Wright, State Of Minnesota, the Township Election will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Voting will take place at the French Lake Township located at 3133 County Road 3 NW, Annandale, MN. If you require an absentee ballot, please contact the Wright County Auditor’s Office. The polls will be open from Ten (10) o’clock a.m. to Eight (8) o’clock p.m. The French Lake Township Annual Town Meeting will take place following the close of the polls.
The Public Accuracy Test of the assisted voting device which will be used during the election will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 immediately after the regularly scheduled Township meeting at 7:00 pm at the French Lake Township Hall. The purpose of this testing is to ascertain the equipment will correctly tabulate the votes cast for all races and candidates. The public is invited to attend.

A Petition for Determination of Descent has been filed with this Court. The Petition represents that the Decedent died more than three years ago, leaving property in Minnesota and requests the probate of Decedent’s last will (if any), and the descent of such property be determined and assigned by this Court to the persons entitled to the property.
Any objections to the Petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper, and no objections are filed or raised, the Petition may be granted.
Notice is given, that the Petition will be heard on 4/17/23, at 1:30 pm, by this Court at 3700 Braddock Avenue, Buffalo, Minnesota. This will be a virtual hearing. Notice of Remote Hearing will accompany this notice.
1. Notice shall be given to all interested persons (Minn. Stat. §524.1-401) and persons who have filed a demand for notice pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 524.3-204.
2. Notice shall be given by publishing this Notice and Order as provided by law and by: Mailing a copy of this Notice and Order at least 14 days prior to the hearing date.

1. Scheer called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.
2. Board members present: Jon Scheer, Gena Jacobson, Jennifer Mealey, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Paul Zabinski. Absent: Katie Jones and Student Representatives Molly Klippenes and Atalie Druga.
3. Mealey moved to approve the agenda. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

1. School Board Member Oath of Office (Melissa Muehring-Paulson, Jennifer Mealey and Gena Jacobson)
2. Scheer nominated Jones as Board Chairperson for 2023. With no other nominations the board voted in favor 5-0. Katie Jones is elected Chairperson of the school board.
3. Mealey nominated Scheer as Board Vice Chairperson for 2023. With no other nominations the board voted in favor 5-0. Jon Scheer is elected Vice Chairperson of the school board.
4. Mealey nominated Jacobson as Board Clerk for 2023. With no other nominations the board voted in favor 5-0. Gena Jacoboson is elected Board Clerk of the school board.
5. Melaey nominated Muehring-Paulson as Board Treasurer for 2023. With no other nominations the board voted in favor 5-0. Melissa Muehring-Paulson is elected Board Treasurer of the school board.
6. Zabinski made a motion to approve the Board Committee Assignments for 2023. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
