Work Session of the School Board – March 27, 2023 at 5:30 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 5:35 pm.
2. Board members present: Jon Scheer, Katie Jones, Gena Jacobson, Jennifer Mealey, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Paul Zabinski. Absent: Student Representatives: Molly Klippenes and Atalie Druga.
3. Mealey moved for the approval of Agenda Items. Scheer seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
4. Work session to discuss district wide facilities and our current programming. (No action is required)

A. There will be another work session at the Annandale Middle School on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 6:00 pm held in person in the Choir Room.
B. The next monthly regular meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
7. Mealey made the motion to adjourn at 7:15 pm. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

B. Jacobson moved to approve the hiring of a High School Math Teacher. Scheer seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
C. Jacobson moved to approve the Request for Additional Speech Language Pathologist 2023-24 School Year: 1.0 SLP, .5 SLP or 1.0 SLPA options depending on funding. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
D. Mealey moved to approve the kitchen equipment upgrades. Zabinski seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
E. Scheer moved to approve the adoption of the Resolution Wright Technical Center’s Long-Term Facility Maintenance Program Budget and Authorizing the Inclusion of a Proportionate Share of those Projects in the District’s Application for Long-Term Facility Maintenance Revenue (Roll call vote needed) and was duly seconded by Zabinski and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Paul Zabinski, Melissa Muehring-Paulson, Gena Jacobson, Jon Scheer, Katie Jones and Jennifer Mealey. The following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Sealed bids for Double Chip Sealing approximately 3.5 miles of gravel road & Single Chip Sealing approximately 1.5 miles of tar road will be received by Clearwater Township, Minnesota at the office of the Town Clerk until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Principal components of the project include the following:
Bid 1: Double Chip Seal 125th Ave NW from Hart Ave to following through to Illsley Ave, 132nd Street, Ireland Ave, and 140th Street ending at State Hwy 24. approximately 3.2 miles of road surface
Add Alternate 1A: Irvine Ave NW .15 miles (dead end off 140th Street)
Bid 2: Single Chip Seal over tar road of Gowan Ave NW from Grover Ave NW approximately ½ mile
Add Alternate 2A: Single Chip Seal Grover Ave on both sides of the I94 bridge approx. 1 mile
Add Alternate 2B: Double Chip Seal of Gowan Ave from current tar until end approximately .3 miles
