LEGAL NOTICE: ANNANDALE SMALL CITIES DEVELOPMENT PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Annandale has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, October 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall in Annandale, 30 Cedar St. E., Annandale, MN. The meeting is intended to obtain citizen input, comments, recommendations, and suggestions regarding the progress of the recent Small Cities Development Program rehabilitation project within the community, which includes commercial properties, multi-family, and mix-use rentals.
Citizens attending the meeting will have the opportunity to voice suggestions, complaints, and grievances pertaining to any matters outlined above or discussed at the meeting.
Low to moderate-income citizens, Section 3, women and minority-owned businesses, handicapped individuals, and members of any disadvantaged classes are particularly encouraged to attend.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately:
1. Site grading, paving, seeding, storm water pond construction, and chain link fence removal and replacement.
2. Construct tertiary filtration building and associated tanks, including but not limited to: structural concrete, masonry, valves, precast plank, misc. metals, process piping, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and SCADA controls.
3. Construct chemical feed equipment and controls.
together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goals, Targeted Group Business Program Goals, and Veteran-Owned Small Business, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by 540 working days.

BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of Annandale-Maple Lake-Howard Lake Wastewater Commission shall accompany each bid.
LABOR RATES – MINIMUM WAGE REQUIREMENTS: This project is being funded by the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority™s Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund Annandale, Maple Lake, Howard Lake Wastewater Commission. The project is subject to the State of Minnesota and Federal minimum wages.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer/Manager for the project. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone.
