NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Corinna Township Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment will convene on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, beginning at 7:00 PM at Corinna Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Ave, Annandale to conduct the following public hearing(s):

Requests related to the adjusting of a lot line. Approvals required include a Variance to adjust an approximate 0.08 acre non-contiguous portion of an approximate 20 acre parcel (PID 206011000020) so as to be attached to another non-contiguous parcel in close proximity (PID 206011000010). NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ANNANDALE CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the Annandale City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 6:30 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, at City Hall, 30 Cedar Street East to review proposed amendments regarding the regulation of ATV’s within city limits. The proposed ordinance amendment is available on the City’s website or by contacting City Hall at 320-274-3055. All interested persons will be heard at this meeting, or you can send your written comments to the City Clerk’s office in advance of the hearing.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Annandale will meet in the Council Chambers, 30 Cedar Street East, Annandale, Minnesota at 6:30 p.m. on October 14, 2024 to consider, and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment for the Street and Utility Improvements in the following areas:
Highland Street – Approximately 120’ East of Florence Avenue to Excelsior Avenue
Brown Avenue – Knollwood Street to Harrison Street
Willow Drive – Excelsior Avenue to End of Road
Willow Circle – Willow Drive to End of Road
Adoption by the City Council of the proposed assessment against abutting property may occur at the hearing.
Such assessment is proposed to be payable in equal installments extending over a period of 20 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 2025, and will bear interest at a rate of 5.33 percent. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of the certification to the County Auditor until December 31, 2024. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid assessments.
You may at any time prior to the certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the entire assessment on such property to the City Administrator of the City of Annandale. No interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this assessment. You may at any time thereafter, pay to the County Auditor the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before November 15 or the interest will be charged through December 31 of the succeeding year. If you decide not to prepay the assessment before the date given above, the rate of interest that will apply is 5.33 percent. The right to partially prepay the assessment is also available.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the City Clerk’s office. The total amount of the proposed assessment is approximately $909,122.95. Written or oral objections will be considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of an assessment adopted pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 429.061, subd. 2, unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner, is filed with the City Administrator prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. An owner may appeal an assessment to the District Court pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 429.081 by serving notice of appeal upon the Mayor or City Administrator of the City of Annandale with in thirty (30) days after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the District Court within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or City Administrator.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Corinna Township, Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at 7 p.m. on the 15th day of October, 2024, or soon thereafter at the Corinna Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Ave. NW, Corinna Township, MN 55302, Minnesota, to pass upon the proposed assessment of costs for the bituminous paving of the following portion of Irvine Avenue in Corinna Township, Minnesota:
Commencing at the intersection of Wright County Highway No. 6 and Irvine Avenue, then continuing east to the outlet on Isaak Avenue N.W., in Corinna Township, Minnesota.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection in the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall. The total amount of the proposed assessment is $90,753.00. Adoption of the proposed assessment by the Town Board may be taken at the hearing. Written or oral objections to the proposed assessments by any property owner will be considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of the assessment unless a written objection, signed by the property owner, is filed with the Town Clerk prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing.
An owner may appeal an assessment to the District Court pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.081 by serving written notice of the appeal upon the Town Board Chair or Town Clerk within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the District Court within ten (10) days after service upon the Town Board Chair or Town Clerk.
Minnesota Statutes Section 435.193 through 435.195 authorize a municipality to defer the payment of assessments against homestead property owned by persons 65 years of age and older, or who are retired because of permanent and total disability under circumstances where it would be a hardship for such person to make the assessment payments. When deferment of the special assessment has been granted and is terminated for any reason provided in that law, all amounts accumulated plus applicable interest become due. Corinna Township has not adopted an ordinance authorizing deferrals of special assessments.
