TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHSIDE
REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS
The Southside Township Board requests bids for the collection and disposal of residential recyclable materials included in which are newspapers, glossy print, corrugated paper, cardboard, glass bottles, aluminum, tin, steel, and plastic containers. The proposal is for the entire Township of Southside. (Average monthly participation in 2024 was approximately 720 households per month – with carts at 865 households.) The bid includes a request for a performance bond in the sum of $7,500 and contractor insurance.
Service is to begin the month of August, 2025, and continue for a period of three years, with curbside pick-up every other week.
Bids are to be sent to Southside Township, P.O. Box 520, Annandale, MN 55302 or emailed to: clerktreasurer@southsidetownship.com to arrive no later than 5:00 pm May 30, 2025. Bid opening will take place at the regular board meeting on June 3, 2025.
The Board reserves the right to accept or refuse any or all bids.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Annandale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 28, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter, at the Annandale City Council Chambers, 30 Cedar Street East, to consider
the following:
Consideration of a request for an amendment to the Triplett Farms Planned Unit Development related to the performance standards.
Applicant/Property Owner: LGI Homes – Minnesota, LLC.
Property Location: Triplett Farms 3rd and 4th Addition
Pertinent information about this request is available for viewing at City Hall.
Oral testimony will be accepted on the above subjects, and all persons desiring to be heard on referenced subjects will be heard at this meeting. Written comments may be taken at the Annandale City Hall, 30 Cedar Street East, PO Box K, Annandale, MN 55302 until the date of the hearing.
