The pursuit of high-quality broadband in Wright County took another step forward with the county board’s approval of financial contribution and support for eight broadband projects within the county. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, at their regular meeting, commissioners agreed to commit just over $3.7 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) funding to five ISP providers for eight proposed projects that would ultimately serve about 3,400 locations across the county.
