Dorothy E. Winkler

Dorothy E. Winkler, 84, died on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at her home in Annandale.  A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Annandale. Private burial for family members will immediately follow the service.  She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Roger) Betsinger of Broken Arrow, Okla.; daughter-in-law, Irene Winkler of Minneapolis; five grandchildren; sister, Rosalie Dykuizen of St. Cloud; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Duane and Yvonne Winkler of Crystal; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  Her husband of 62 years, Clayton, and her son Gary preceded her in death.  Dorothy was an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and especially enjoyed using the Bible to teach others God’s promises. Some of her other interests included writing poetry, music, cooking and baking, playing cards and games, crafts and collecting vintage head vases.
