Bret M. Cyriacks

Bret M. Cyriacks, 44, of St. Louis Park died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 at his residence due to complications of a seizure disorder.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 4, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek with Rev. David Fretham and Padre Howie Krienke officiating. Burial will follow in Corinna Cemetery, Corinna Township, Wright County. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  His parents, Dr. Marvin and Stella Cyriacks of Annandale; sisters, Marla of Brooklyn Center, Patrice of St. Louis Park; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends survive him.  Bret Marvin Cyriacks was born Aug. 8, 1960, in St. Cloud to Marvin and Stella (Kothe) Cyriacks. He was baptized Sept. 4, 1960, and confirmed April 28, 1974, at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. In 1978 he graduated from Annandale High School where he played in the school band and participated in school athletics. He was a member of the football, basketball, and track teams; was a football captain and was the 1978 Class A Minnesota state champion in the long jump. Bret attended Hamline University and then the University of Minnesota. He was employed by US Bank in Minneapolis. He married Susan Urbanski on Aug. 13, 1988, and they later divorced.   Pallbearers: Randall and Robert Bushman, Brian and Joseph Kothe, Bruce Larson, and David Trautman.   Music: Beth Kothe, soloist; Darlene Fretham, pianist; Dolores Hayes, organist.
