Craig S. Kroeger, age 73, of Annandale, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at the Albion Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Kevin Sorenson officiating. Burial will follow at the Albion Free Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30 to 2 p.m. at church prior to the service on Friday. Services will be webcast on the funeral home website. Craig Stephen Kroeger was born Feb. 15, 1950, in Worthington, Minnesota to Lloyd and Donna (Van Westen) Kroeger. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1968. Oct. 23, 1969, Craig was inducted in the United States Army where he proudly served two years in Germany. On Oct. 14, 1972, Craig and Faye were united in marriage. Craig worked as an engineer in the mechanical and medical industries. He was an avid reader and a man of many interests and talents. He was known for his well-rounded skills as a musician, beekeeper, piano-tuner, artist, auto mechanic and carpenter; he was an all-around fix-it man. Music was his real passion, and he possessed a true “rhythm and blues” soul. He wrote some Christian music and enjoyed playing keyboard for the worship team at the Living Waters church in Clear Lake. Craig also served on the music ministry at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for numerous years. There is no doubt that heaven has some lively music being enjoyed now. His greatest role of all was being the family “Rock.” Life will not be the same without Craig. Craig is survived by his beloved wife, Faye Kroeger of Annandale; daughter, Kristina Kroeger of Annandale; grandchildren, Hunter Kroeger, Lily Phyle, Brody Boon and Kaitlyn Boon; sisters, Cindy (Randy) McDaniel of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Penny (Joe) Geurts of Elk River and Jolynn (Dick) Fobbe of Maple Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Donna. The obituary, guestbook, video tribute and funeral webcast are online at www.dingmannfuneral.com.
