Lynne Ruth Ahsenmacher was born on March 14, 1960, to Donald and Gladys (Klemz) Ahsenmacher in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on an Air Force base. Along with her three siblings, Lynne was raised in Annandale, where she spent the vast majority of her life. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale. A graduate of Annandale High School in 1978, Lynne pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school. Her professional journey took a different path when she dedicated 35 years of her career as a mail sorter at Carlson Company, an organization that eventually became known as Gage Letter Shop and later American Spirit Mailing. On April 12, 1980, Lynne was united in marriage to Steven Robasse at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. They were blessed with three children. Although they later parted ways, they remained married, stayed in each other’s lives, and continued to raise their family as a team.

Lynne was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings. She was passionate about floral gardening, enjoyed the thrill of scratch-off lottery tickets, and found joy in sewing and crafting. Above all, it was her family that brought her the greatest joy. Lynne was a loving mother and grandmother who never missed a single event and was always the biggest cheerleader for her kids and grandkids. Her caregiving extended beyond her immediate family, encompassing extended relatives and friends, reflecting her generous and selfless nature.

Lynne is survived by her children, Scott (Annie) Robasse of Buffalo, Casey Smith of Annandale, and Lisa (Troy) Korsmo of Kimball; grandchildren, Teddy, Ryan, Alabama, Emma, Jasper, India, Turner, and Aubrey; great-grandchild, Zakai; mother, Gladys Ahsenmacher of Annandale; siblings, Dave (Jacquie) Ahsenmacher and Leanne (Joe) Fernandez, both of Annandale; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Ahsenmacher, and brother, Duane “Dewey” Ahsenmacher.

Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz will provide music for the service. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
