Born on February 16, 1948, in Slayton, Minn., Cheryl grew up with a rebel spirit that shaped her journey through life. She was a woman of endless interests and creativity. She graduated from Burnsville High School in 1966, after which she completed a term at St. Cloud State University and pursued successful careers in sales and real estate. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, reading, bowling, fishing, baking, sewing, bingo, music, foraging and storytelling. Cheryl will be remembered for many infinite details, among them her wicked cribbage game, her famous hermit cookies, her quiet compassion and her beautiful laughter.

She is survived by her loving children Martin Holm (Jennifer), Eleise Jones (Zachary Silbersher) and Katherine Eggen (Ronald); stepsons Karl Edwards (Ellen) and Tom Edwards (Kari); her many cherished grandchildren; her siblings Larry, Douglas and Steven Rupp, and Laurel Miller; her previous husbands Daniel Holm and Verne Jones; and friends and extended family in the Twin Cities, Annandale, and Phoenix, Ariz.

Cheryl’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched with her humor and tenderness.
