Wilbert Lloyd Glaim, 98, of Annandale, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, in Tempe, Ariz.
A private service was held in Mesa, Arizona.
He is survived by his son, Barry; his wife, Roxann; granddaughters, Tara Whitten and Melanie Glaim; great nephew Jeremy Erger; great grandchildren Alexis and Kevin Whitten; brother, Roger (Muriel) Glaim; and sister, Eleanor Fair; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his wife, Muriel; parents Gilbert and Marilla (Heaton) Glaim; brothers, Eugene, Henry and George Glaim; sisters, Pearl McAlpine, Minnie Cheney, Jane Levitt and Stella Newby; and niece, Ruthann Rhoe.
Wilbert was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Annandale, and married Muriel Ruth Rhoe of Annandale on July 11, 1940. Together for more than 70 years, they lived most of their lives near Annandale where they raised their son, Barry, and niece, Ruthann Rhoe.
