Just to remind the voters that two-thirds of the people in nursing homes and care centers depend on Medicaid and some have long term policies, so that the family will not be bankrupt. Medicaid is all that poor families and children have for health care.
Are local clinics, doctors, hospitals and other health providers going to provide the health care needed for a sprained ankle, knee or wrist when the income earner can’t support the family, let alone pay for health care or an impossible payment to a health insurance corporation? Did we just give money to some health insurance corporations?
Medicare is also on the chopping block, helped along by Rep. Tom Emmer’s votes. To his credit, he has no choice because the Republicans run the show and it is "Go along to get along." Do you think the GOP will give us "great health care?" You can be sure of a big tax break for the rich.
