The Lightning capped a busy week with a test at home in the ANML Battle for the Bolt Tournament in Annandale on Saturday, Feb. 1. Of the seven teams competing in the event, six were in their class state rankings. By day’s end, the Lightning finished 2-1. The team earned a 50-21 win over ROCORI, fell 49-19 to Willmar, ranked fifth at Class AAA, and capped its day with a come-from-behind 32-27 victory over Zumbrota-Mazeppa, ranked third in Class AA.
