The Cardinal football team traveled to Rockford High School Saturday, Aug. 24, for a scrimmage against two teams, the Rockford Rockets and the SMB Wolfpack. A scrimmage is different from a game, each team gets 20 plays on offense and then the other team gets 20. It is a much more controlled and the field position is from the 40 yard line.
