Annandale is known for its volunteerism and community spirit, and it is often remarked that “Annandale is special.” While having 26 lakes within 10 miles of the city doesn’t do any harm, Annandale attracts residents that many smaller communities don’t – in some ways also to its proximity to the Metro and St. Cloud areas.
