The American Red Cross made a push for holiday blood donations this December with a stop at True Friends recently.
Donations decline during the month, but needs of patients remain steady. To encourage donations, those who give blood or platelets from Thursday, Dec. 21, through Jan. 7, will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
The bloodmobile was at True Friends (Camp Friendship), 10509 108th St. NW, Annandale, Thursday, Dec. 21.
