Edna Elaine Carlson, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 27 at Howard Lake Christian Church with Pastor Pat Ridpath officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, French Lake Township.
Survived by her husband, Ellsworth of Annandale, sons Rick and his wife Kathy of Delano, Ron of Cokato, Roger of Dassel and Rory of Colombia Heights, grandchildren Jesse, Missy, Dana, Ryan, Michelle and Laura, brother and sisters Alvin (Mary) Leukuma of Dassel, Lil Broker of Bloomington, Elsie (Carl) Olson of Lake George, Ray (Gladys) Leukuma of Brooklyn Center, Norman (Elsie) Leukuma of Pendleton, Ore., Janet (Kenny) Gustafson of Kimball and Carl Albers of Brooklyn Park.
Preceded in death by her parents, son, Rusty, brothers and sisters Carl, Ellen, Harry, Martha, Willard, Richard, Ralph and Shirley.
Edna was born January 29, 1924 at home in rural Wright County to Hjalmer and Greta (Tormanen) Leukuma. Edna married Ellsworth Carlson on April 6, 1950. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, had and passion for gardening which she shared with many.
