Kenneth M. Knudsvig

Mr. Kenneth M. Knudsvig, 64, of Annandale died Monday, October 1, 2001 at the ELEAH Medical Center, Elbow Lake near where he was camping for the night.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow in Corinna Cemetery, Corinna Township, Wright County. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services on Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Thursday at the church in Annandale.
He is survived by his wife, Idell, three children and their spouses, Tanya and Jim LaTour, Todd and Lisa Knudsvig, Terri and Steve Wuollet, seven grandchildren, Laura and David LaTour, Elizabeth and Emily Grace Knudsvig, Matthew, Paige, and Lindsie Wuollet, all of Annandale, mother-in-law, Alice Julson of Leeds, N.D., four brothers and their wives, Martin and Donna of Northwood, N.D., Gerald and Karen of Buxton, N.D., Hilman of Buxton, N.D., and Everett and Karen of Grand Forks, N.D.
His parents and father-in-law, Clifford Julson preceded him in death.
Kenneth M. Knudsvig was born June 17, 1937 in Buxton, N.D. to Christopher and Emma (Kveen) Knudsvig. He was baptized on July 3, 1937 in Buxton and confirmed in April of 1952 in Mayville, N.D. He graduated from Buxton, N.D. High School in 1955 and Mayville State Teachers College, Mayville, N.D. in 1959. He married Idell Julson June 19, 1960 in Leeds, N.D. He was a business and physical education teacher and also coached many different sports in Pembina, N.D. from 1959-1964, in Butterfield-Odin, from 1964-1969, and in Annandale from 1969-1993. He was also employed by Mid-Minnesota Hot Mix and Dingmann Funeral Care. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he was a former Elder, Zion Lutheran Choir, and Southbrook Golf Club. He was a former member of the Annandale Lions Club. He loved his family, golfing, camping, and driving his Super ‘H’ tractor.
Pallbearers: Rod Thorsell, Dub Ferrell, Leo Johnson, Wes Wiegand, Ronald Julson, and Everett Knudsvig.
Honorary pallbearer: Martin, Gerald, and Hilman Knudsvig, William, Ross, and Mike Julson.
Music: Zion Lutheran Choir with Kathy Queck as organist and flutist.
