REGULAR MEETING OF THE SCHOOL BOARD – JULY 22, 2024 AT 7:00 PM
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
2. Board members present: Katie Jones, Jon Scheer, Gena Jacobson, Jennifer Mealey, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Dillon Dougherty.
3. Mealey moved to approve the agenda items. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

6. Scheer moved to approve the consent agenda. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
A. Approval of meeting minutes from the June 24, 2024 Regular Board Meeting

8. New Business
A. Mealey moved to approve the Lunch Prices and Fees for 2024-2025. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
B. Scheer moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Relating to the Election of School Board Members and Calling the School District General Election Mealey seconded and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Scheer, Jacobson, Dougherty, Mealey, Muehring-Paulson and Jones.
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
C. Mealey moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Relating to Increasing the General Education Revenue of the School District and Calling an Election Thereon Muehring-Paulson seconded and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Scheer, Jacobson, Dougherty, Mealey, Muehring-Paulson and Jones.
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
D. Consider approval of the FY26 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Ten-Year Plan:
1. Scheer moved to approve the Resolution Adopting the School District’s Fiscal Year (FY) 26 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Ten-Year Plan. Mealey secondedand upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Scheer, Jacobson, Dougherty, Mealey, Muehring-Paulson and Jones.
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
E. Scheer moved to approve the following 24-25 Contracts. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
1. Jordan Gries – EBD Teacher – Middle School
2. Mark Kovall – 5th Grade Teacher – Elementary School
3. Leah Bobrowske – Social Studies/Communications Teacher – Middle School
F. Mealey moved to approve the following 24-25 work assignments. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
1. Christopher Farber – Night Custodian – Annandale High School
G.Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the July Resolution Accepting Donations. Mealey seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
H. Consider the second reading of the new Policy 715 Development and Maintenance of an Inventory of Fixed Assets and a Fixed Asset Accounting System
I. Scheer moved to approve three policies in the review cycle. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
9. Information Items
A. The new staff/school board dinner will be held at the Annandale High School on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
B. The next monthly meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
10. Mealey made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:31 pm. Scheer seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS AND CREDITORS: Notice is given that on October 15, 2024, at9:30 (a.m.), a hearing will be held in this Court via Zoom Remote Technology, Minnesota for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Kristina Weber whose address is 1900 22nd Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201, as Personal Representative of the Estate of the above-named Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
