ANNUAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of French Lake Township, County of Wright, State Of Minnesota, of the following election and meeting movements:
The Public Accuracy Test of the election equipment Omniballet, assisted voting device, which will be used during the township election will be held on March 4th, 2025 immediately after the March Township meeting at 7:00 pm at the French Lake Township Hall. The purpose of this testing is to ascertain that the equipment will correctly mark the votes cast for all races and candidates. The public is invited to attend.

Township election will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.  Voting will take place at the French Lake Township located at 3133 County Road 3 NW, Annandale, MN.  If you require an absentee ballot, please contact the Wright County Auditor’s Office. The polls will be open from Ten (10) o’clock a.m. to Eight (8) o’clock p.m. Immediately following, the Annual Meeting will be held at 8:30 PM once polls have closed and counts have been taken.

Notice of Annual Town Meeting 2025
Notice is given to the residents of the Township of Southside, in the County of Wright and State of Minnesota, that the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the case of inclement weather, the meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.

MINUTES ANNANDALE CITY COUNCIL January 13, 2025
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The City Council of Annandale, Minnesota, met for a regular meeting on January 13, 2025, at 6:30 P.M. at the City Council Chambers. Mayor Shelly Jonas called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
City Council present: Matthew Wuollet, Corey Czycalla, Tina Honsey, JT Grundy, Shelly Jonas. Others present: City Administrator Kelly Hinnenkamp, Public Works Director Joe Haller, Police Chief Pete Standafer, Community Development Director Jacob Thunander, Jim Marsh with Annandale Lion‘s, Alyssa Domagala and Crystal Nutt with Annandale Rising, the Annandale Advocate and members of the public.
SET AGENDA: A motion was made by Czycalla and seconded by Wuollet to adopt the agenda with the addition of Annandale Lions under Visitors.
All motions are approved unanimously unless otherwise noted
OATH OF OFFICE:
Hinnenkamp administered the oath of office for Mayor Jonas, Councilmembers Grundy and Wuollet.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made by Grundy and seconded by Wuollet to adopt the minutes of December 9, 2025 and December 17, 2025 as presented.
VISITORS:
Cardinal Rising- Alyssa Domagala and Crystal Nutt presented on the Cardinal Rising fundraising effort.
Annandale Lions- Jim Marsh, representing the Annandale Lion’s, informed the Council the Lion’s have provided over $341,000 this past year in donations throughout the community with their lawful gambling proceeds. Marsh presented a donation from the Annandale Lions to the City Council in the amount of $134,500 to help with future city projects.
PUBLIC HEARING:
Ordinance 423 Establishing Rental Housing Maintenance Standards and Resolution 25-01 Summary Ordinance- Mayor Jonas opened the public hearing at 6:41 PM. After hearing no public comment, the public hearing was closed at 6:42 PM. After further discussion from Council, a motion was made by Czycalla and seconded by Honsey to adopt the Ordinance 423 and Approve Resolution 25-01 as presented. ROLL CALL: Ayes: Honsey, Grundy, Wuollet, Czycalla, Jonas. Nays: None. Absent: None. Abstain: None. Resolution 25-01 adopted on a 5-aye, 0-nay, 0-absent, 0- abstain vote.

Request from Cepco Management for Assessment of Meter Expense- A motion was made by Wuollet and seconded by Honsey to direct staff to enter into an assessment agreement with the owners to assess the meter expense of $1250 over 3 years at 6.25%.
Resolution 25-09 Approving Purchase of Mower- A motion was made by Czycalla and seconded by Wuollet to approve Resolution 25-06. ROLL CALL: Ayes: Honsey, Grundy, Wuollet, Czycalla. Nays: None. Absent: None. Abstain: Jonas. Resolution 25-01 adopted on a 4-aye, 0-nay, 1-absent, 0- abstain vote.
Resolution 25-10 MN DEED Application and Committing Repayment of Loan- The Council discussed the loan program available through DEED for 74 Oak Avenue North.
Resolution 25-11 Approving Purchase of Products and Services: M&M Bus Company- A motion was made by Wuollet and seconded by Honsey to approve Resolution 25-11. ROLL CALL: Ayes: Honsey, Grundy, Wuollet, Czycalla. Nays: None. Absent: None. Abstain: Jonas. Resolution 25-01 adopted on a 4-aye, 0-nay, 1-absent, 0-abstain vote.
Discuss Sale of Land in Business Park- Mayor Jonas closed the meeting at 7:20PM to discuss the sale of land at the Business Park to the Annandale Food Shelf. The meeting wsa reopened at 7:34 PM. A motion was made by Czycalla and seconded by Honsey to direct staff to enter into a purchase agreement with the Annandale Food Shelf under the terms discussed in the closed session.
MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORTS
Chief Standafer updated council on the K-9. He informed them he ordered the new Durango for 2025 and they’ve been busy collecting speed data with the new speed sign.
ADJOURNMENT
Moved by Honsey and seconded by Czycalla to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M.

Test For the Township Election
