Annandale principals Charlie Bakker (high school), Jennifer Sabol (middle school), at left, and Jon Klippenes (elementary) served up ice cream as part of a Cardinals Rising fundraising event at Sweet Escapes on Friday, Feb. 28 from 3 to 6 pm. A total of $1,988.18 was raised at this event and the winning school/principal was the elementary and its principal Mr. Klippenes, who will be presented with a Golden Scoop.
