June 23, 2025 at 7:00 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm.

3. Board members present: Katie Jones, Dillon Dougherty, Gena Jacobson, Jennifer Mealey, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Jenna Witherbee. Absent: None
4. Mealey moved to approve the agenda items. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

7. Jacobson moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

A. Qcomp Annual Review: Presentation given by Jon Meinke and Jennifer Gazdzik.
B. Discussion of Operating Levy and possible approval: Discussion had by Katie Jones, Dillon Dougherty, Gena Jacobson, Jenna Witherbee, Melissa Muehring-Paulson, Jennifer Mealey, Tim Prom and Rick Pullen regarding the community listening sessions that were held and the process in which they discussed the possibility of an operating levy, dollar amount, length and terms discussed.
Mealey moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Relating to Increasing the General Education Revenue of the School District and Calling an Election Thereon. Muehring-Paulson seconded and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Dougherty, Mealey, Muehring-Paulson, Witherbee, Jacobson and Jones.
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
C. Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Certifying the Population Estimate for the 2024 Payable 2025 Levy of Independent School District 876. Mealey seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
D. Mealey moved to approve the Recognition of Student Qualifiers for State Competition List. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

E. Mealey moved to approve and adopt the 2025-26 MSHSL Resolution for Membership. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

F. Mealey moved to approve the FY 2026 Capital Budget. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
G. Final and Preliminary Revenue & Expenditure Budget for FY25 and FY26:
1. Mealey moved to approve the Fund Balance FY25. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
2. Mealey moved to approve the Preliminary Fund Balance FY26. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
H. Mealey moved to approve and adopt the June Resolution Accepting Donations. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
I. Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the resolution relating to the placement of continuing contract/tenured teacher Alana Kopp on an unrequested leave of absence. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
J. Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the resolution relating to the placement of continuing contract/tenured teacher Kristen Mattick on an unrequested leave of absence. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
K. Witherbee moved to approve the following 25-26 contracts. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
1. Alana Kopp – ADSIS Behavior Intervention Specialist
L. Mealey moved to approve the following 25-26 work assignments. Withberbee seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
1. Melissa Sandquist – Paraprofessional – Elementary School
2. Dion Brown – Custodian – Elementary School
M. Witherbee moved to approve six policies in the review cycle. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
10. Information Items
A. The next monthly meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
11. Mealey made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:27 pm. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

Notice is given that on September 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., a hearing will be held remotely via Zoom in this Court at 3700 Braddock Avenue, Buffalo Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Jacob T. Theissen as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate. Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

Pursuant to MN Statue 471.6161, notice is hereby given that Annandale ISD 578 requests proposals for
Group Dental Insurance
Specifications will be available from the District’s agent of record, National Insurance Services, at 300 North Corporate Drive, Suite 300, Brookfield WI, 53045, phone 800-627-3660.
Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm on August 27, 2025 to 300 North Corporate Drive, Suite 300, Brookfield WI, 53045 and as specified in the RFP.
Annandale ISD 578 reserves the right to reject proposals, waive formalities, and to select the proposal that best meets the District’s needs.
Criteria for the evaluation of proposals will be provided when the specifications are requested.
