Beverly J. Metz, 77, of Buffalo, formerly of Long Lake, passed away peacefully Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home. Memorial services were held Friday, March 22, at Rettinger Funeral Home, Long Lake. Beverly is survived by daughters, Cathy (Nick) Meyer and Cindy (Greg) Wright; sons, Michael and Thomas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Luverne Schmidt and Bruce (Teri) Schmidt; sister, Sandra Kittridge; and many loving relatives, friends and special pet, Niles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Amy Schmidt; and sister, Barbara Brose. Beverly grew up in the Annandale area and graduated from Annandale High School in 1953. She was loved by all and was a pillar of strength and courage.
