Irene R. Bouska, 88, of Annandale passed away peacefully at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, May 3, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale, with Fr. Victor Valencia celebrating the mass and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Linda Sanderson of Live Oak, Fla., Brad (Sharon) of Annandale and Jacalyn (Michael) Vales of The Villages, Fla.; sister, Laura Bixby of Pine City; grandchildren, Teresa (Jeff) Zuehl, Shannon (Jake) Piram, Justin (Deonna) Bouska, Heather (Craig) Moseley, Tanya (Pat) Doble, Jacob Nelson, Lucas (Frannie) Vales, Laura Wylie and Alicia Anderson; great-grandchildren, Braden, Seaver, Geonette, Tyler, Connor, Shawn, Samantha and baby boy Piram. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Regina; husband, Charles; son, Charles, Jr.; grandson, Kurt; sisters, Ester Thielman, Gladys Optholt, Hy Pollard-Blake and Bobbie Lentz; and brother, Ralph Thielman. Irene Rose Bouska was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Holdingford to Peter and Regina (Young) Thielman. She married Charles Bouska on Aug. 16, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1992. In her younger years, Irene enjoyed fishing, dancing and traveling. She loved flowers, had a green thumb and enjoyed doing crafts. Irene’s love was her family; she especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
