Larry K. Gordon, 53, of Rockford passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at his residence. A memorial service was held Thursday, Aug. 27 at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. He was born on March 21, 1956, in St. Cloud the son of Don and Gladys Converse Gordon. Larry graduated from Annandale High School in 1974. On June 28, 1975, he and Sandy Weis were joined in holy marriage at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale. God blessed their marriage with three children. They were married for twenty years. Larry was employed for many years as a maintenance technician. He was an avid outdoorsman. Larry also enjoyed camping, tinkering and hunting. He is survived by three children, Sara (Sam) Smuder and Michael (Marissa) Gordon all of Monticello and David Gordon of St. Michael; grandchildren, Bryn and Jace; brothers, Randy (Patsy) Gordon of Sandstone and Greg (Carol) Gordon of Blaine; sister, Ronda (Larry) Meckle of Annandale; the mother of his children, Sandy Gordon; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Don and Gladys Gordon and by a brother, Gary Gordon.
