Thomas P. Henry, 75, of Annandale died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Aug. 27, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Memorials preferred to the Annandale Area Foodshelf. He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann of Annandale; children and their spouses, Peter and Marlys Henry of Maple Lake, Gretchen and Scott Quiggle of Annandale, Mary Jo and Dean Calonder of Bristow, Va., James and Marcia Henry of Blaine, Heidi and Donald Cox of Clearwater; brother John Henry and his wife Ginnie of Rochester; grandchildren Stacey, Sarah and Joshua Henry, Seth (Stephanie) and Shae Quiggle, Angela, Ryan and Nathaniel Calonder, Alexandra, Chelsey and Ethan Henry, Bryan, Kayla and Karlee Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters. Thomas Peter Henry was born Aug. 23, 1934, in Hastings to Earl and Katherine (Sieben) Henry. He graduated from Hastings High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Shirley Ann Reamer on April 19, 1958 and worked for the Environmental Protection Agency. Tom and Shirley started their family in Vermillion and later moved to Silver Creek in 1974. He has lived in Annandale the past year previously living for 15 years in Osceola, Wis., Tom was a member of the Maple Lake American Legion Post 131 and enjoyed gardening, planting trees, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
