Jerald Roger Carlson “Jerry”, 86, passed away at Annandale Care Center on April 1.
Jerry was born Oct. 23, 1933, to parents Leonard and Bernice (Cochran) Carlson. He married Lois Dirkswager in Sept. of 1953. They made their home and raised their family in Maple Lake.
Jerry is survived by his four children, Roger of Annandale, Rick (Nancy) of South Haven, Ron (Moe) of South Haven, and Renee Baughman of Maple Lake; nine grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Carlson of Kimball, Josh (Denise) Carlson of Annandale, Adam (Mindy) Carlson of Annandale, Candice (Branden) Eenhuis of Rockford, Ryan Carlson of Annandale, Joanna Carlson (Louie Schaefer) of Cold Spring, Hannah (Erik) Condon of Glencoe, Elijah Lark (Maria McCormick) of Howard Lake, and Abby Carlson of South Haven; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob Wagner, Haily Wagner, Kylie Carlson, Keegan Eenhuis, Connor Carlson, Isaak Eenhuis, Evelyn Eenhuis, Addison Carlson, and Jaden Carlson; siblings, Mary Mattson of Richvale California, Dan (Marlys) Carlson of Annandale, Kathy Kittleson of Columbia Heights, Bob (Diane) Carlson of Annandale, Glenda (Dean) Thurk of Annandale, Laurie Carlson (Ivan Mihovilovic) of Miami Florida; sister-in-law, Joy Carlson of Annandale; brother-in-law, Marvin Dirkswager of Silver Creek; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jessica Carlson; brothers, Dave and Gordy and sister-in-law, Sheree; brothers-in-law, Ray Mattson and Ron Kittleson; sisters-in-law, Sharon Carlson and Dorothy Dirkswager; and toddler sister, Patricia.
