Nancy Lee Helmbrecht, age 69, of Annandale, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with Fr. Kevin Magner as the Celebrant. Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday with a prayer service at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Visitation continued one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Nancy Lee Marie Logeais was born April 24, 1953, in St. Cloud to Adilore and LaVela (Triplett) Logeais. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale and graduated with the Class of 1971 from Annandale High School. On July 3, 1971, Nancy was united in marriage to Ralph Helmbrecht at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale. They raised their family in Albion Township, rural Annandale. Together, they owned and operated Helmbrecht Sanitation for 31 years, retiring in 2020 when they sold the company to Waste Management. Nancy enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, baking, and cooking. In her younger years, she loved to be outdoors riding her horses. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and dogs. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; daughter, Chantell Lee (Charles) Buschel of Annandale; grandchildren, Skylee, Brayden and Alannah Buschel; brother, Dennis Logeais (Sharon Hoffman) of Annandale; sister, Jeannine (Lester) Wurm of Maple Lake; her dog Tasha and grand-dog, Walter; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adilore and LaVela Logeais; son, Brian Helmbrecht; sister, Joyce Schmidt; and brothers-in-law, Dale Schmidt and Gary Helmbrecht. The casket bearers will be Shane and Darin Wurm, Josh Wylie, Brandon, Joel and Bobby Helmbrecht, Wade and Warren Logeais.
