Dolores J. (Cassellius) Harder

Dolores J. (Cassellius) Harder, age 91, died on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at the Annandale Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Dolores Jeanette Connick was born on Sept. 13, 1931 to Byron and Lilly Connick. She grew up in Maple Lake and graduated from Maple Lake High School with the class of 1949. Dolores was united in marriage to Howard Cassellius on June 17, 1950 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. This marriage was blessed with eight children. Dolores and Howard owned and operated Cassellius Redi-mix in Annandale for many years, until Howard’s death in 1975. On December 30, 1989, Dolores was united in marriage to Eugene Harder. Geno passed away in 1997. Dolores was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She loved the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins and rarely missed watching or listening to a game. Dolores enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and was a talented seamstress. She loved to travel and spent many winters enjoying the sunshine in Mazatlan, Mexico. Dolores is survived by her children Nancy Petersen of Annandale, Sue (Mike) Carlson of Brooklyn Park, Joe (Diane) Cassellius of Annandale, Margaret (Tim) Pummel of Littleton, Colorado, Julia (Keith) Harding of Maple Lake, Mary (Larry Grace) Cassellius of Peoria, Arizona, Jacquie (Dave) Ahsenmacher of Annandale, and Cathy (Bob) Bergemann of Cokato; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister Patricia Kordiak of Brooklyn Park; sister-in-law Pauline Connick of Mayville, North Dakota; nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents Byron and Lilly Connick; husbands Howard Cassellius and Eugene Harder; sister Joyce Connick; brother Richard Connick; son-in-law, David Petersen and infant granddaughter Janelle Harding.
