Cornelius Clarence “Casey” Adickes, age 81, of Monticello and formerly of Annandale, passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was born in Silver Creek Township, Wright County on March 5, 1941 the son of Clarence and Dorothy Mary (Van Lith) Adickes. Casey graduated from Buffalo High School in 1959. On Feb. 9, 1963, Cornelius “Casey” Adickes was joined in holy marriage to Prudence “Pru” Kurz in St. Louis Park. God blessed their marriage with three children. He was a former milk hauler in the Annandale-Maple Lake area and formerly was a machinist for 41 years at Washington Scientific in Long Lake. Casey enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting. He was especially fond of his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife: Pru Adickes; children: Graydon Adickes, Jolene Richner and Leanne Adickes; grandchildren: Michael and Rachel; Keith and Christopher; siblings: Mary Ellen (Bob) Morgan, Marlene (Burt) Ramthun, Alan (Carol) Adickes, Marla Maynard, Myra (Will) Decker, Monna Rae Adickes and Madonna (Dan Rasset) Adickes; brother-in-law: Jim Epple; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Margarita Olson, Raymond Adickes and Marcia Epple. A private celebration of life for Casey Adickes will be held at a later date.
