Rebecca A. Happe

Rebecca A. Happe, age 60, of Annandale, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at the Annandale Care Center after a fearless battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake.

Rebecca Ann Happe was born Sept. 16, 1963, in Buffalo, Minnesota to Clarence and Katherine (Geyen) Happe. She grew up in Maple Lake, along with her six siblings. Becky was a 1982 graduate of Maple Lake High School. Becky worked in the office at numerous clinics and hospitals over the years.

Becky treasured the time she was able to spend with her family and friends. She always looked forward to dinners with her siblings. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure.

She is survived by her children, Kari Schaufler of Roseville, Amanda (Russ) Gerads of Buffalo, Ryan Schaufler (Heather Magnuson) of Annandale, and Christina (Dasan) Hood Beckman of Champlin; six adoring grandchildren, Astella and Addilyn Gerads, Waylon, Colton, Frances, and Louis Schaufler; siblings, Bonnie (Don) Hickman of Crosby, John Happe of Howard Lake, Larry (Cathy) Happe of Willmar, and Celeste (Greg) Graham of Buffalo; sister-in-law, Lisa Happe of Montevideo; ex-husband, Robert Carpenter; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Linda Happe and Steve Happe; and ex-husband, Joseph Schaufler.

The urn bearers will be Ryan Schaufler, Larry Happe, John Happe, Joe Hickman, and Randy Sturman. Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service.
