Regular Meeting of the School Board – October 23, 2023 at 7:00 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
2.Board members present: Katie Jones, Jon Scheer, Gena Jacobson, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Jennifer Mealey. Student Representatives: Atalie Druga and Mariah Klippenes. Absent: Paul Zabinski.
3. Mealey moved to approve the agenda items. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

E. Mealey moved to approve the Annual Assurance of Compliance with State and Federal Law Prohibiting Discrimination. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
F. Consider the first reading of the new Policy 620 Credit for Learning
G. Muehring-Paulson moved to approve seven policies with 2023 Minnesota Legislative Changes. Mealey seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
9. Information Items
A. The next monthly meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
10. Mealey made a motion to adjourn at 7:21 pm. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

FILING NOTICE
CORINNA TOWNSHIP
The Township of Corinna will hold its annual meeting and election on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Corinna Town Hall.
The officers to be elected are: (1) supervisor for three years, the term of John Dearing expiring.
Candidate filing dates are Tuesday, January 2, 2024 to Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Filing Office is open from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. weekdays, except Wednesdays. Filing Office is closed on Wednesdays. Filing Office is open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Candidates may file at the Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Avenue, NW, Annandale, MN. Filing fee is $2.
The last date for a candidate to withdraw from the election is Thursday,
January 18, 2024, until 5 p.m.
Absentee Voting: The Wright County Finance & Taxpayer Services Office, at the Wright County Government Center, will administer absentee voting for the March Township Election. UOVACA voting begins Friday, January 26. Regular Absentee Voting begins Friday, February 9. Voting hours will be: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Monday, March 11, 4:30-5:00 p.m.
Call Wright County at 1-763-682- 7692 to apply for absentee ballots. Requests for mailed absentee ballots will also be accepted. The Wright County Government Center will be closed on Monday, February 19 for President’s Day.

CORINNA TOWNSHIP
Request for Calcium Chloride or Magnesium Chloride
Materials and Application
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of Corinna Township, Wright County, is soliciting sealed bids for up to 100,000 gallons of liquid calcium chloride or liquid magnesium chloride. Bid price to include both materials and application on road widths varying 12′ to 24′. Period of performance: End of June, 2024.
Insurance: The contractor shall provide comprehensive general liability insurance and coverage reasonably required by the Township.
The Township Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Sealed bids are to be mailed or delivered to Corinna Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Avenue NW, Annandale, MN 55302, and arrive no later than 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2023. (320-274-8049) Bid opening will be at the Corinna Town Hall, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
