The Cardinals baseball team made a short road trek to face the Kimball Area Cubs to cap its regular season. After that short trip, the Cardinals shortened the game, jumping on the Cubs with three first-inning runs and not letting up in an eventual 14-3 win via ten-run rule in five innings on May 23.
