The Cardinal boys and girls cross country team traveled to the Pierz Golf Course on Monday, Sept. 18, for the Rey Zimney Stampede. In a field of 19 teams, the Annandale varsity boys, led by junior Sal Wirth, placed second behind Pine City. In a field of 15 girls led by senior Olivia Minear, the Cardinal varsity girls placed third behind Cathedral and Northwest.
