Frederick Steve Luoma, 76, of South Haven passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, after the Daytona 500.
There will be a celebration of Fred’s life from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at his home. The address is 13143 State Highway 24 NW, South Haven.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Jody (Paul) Goenner of Clear Lake and Jamie (Brian) Fisher of Monticello; grandsons, Ben Fisher and Austin Goenner; sisters-in-law, Mary Luoma and Caroline Luoma; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2013; parents; brothers, Douglas, Harvey, Felix and Ronny; and sister, Lila Violet.
Fred was born on April 18, 1941, in Litchfield to William and Elida Luoma. Fred enjoyed racing and repairing cars, horses, snowmobiling, farming, horseshoes, bird watching and spending time with the guys in the garage.
