Special Meeting of the School Board – November 13, 2024 at 6:30 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm.
2. Board members present: Katie Jones, Jon Scheer, Jennifer Mealey, Gena Jacobson, Dillon Dougherty and Melissa Muehring-Paulson.
3. Scheer moved to approve the agenda items with the change of moving community comments and concerns after unfinished business. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0

5. Community Comments and Concerns: 6 members of the community addressed the school board.
6. Information Items
A. The next monthly meeting will be on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 7:00 pm at AES Bendix Media Center
7. Mealey made a motion to adjourn at 7:49 pm. Jacobson seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

FILING NOTICE
CORINNA TOWNSHIP
The Township of Corinna will hold its annual meeting and election on
Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Corinna Town Hall.
The officers to be elected are: (1) supervisor for three years, the term of Larry Smith expiring.
Candidate filing dates are Tuesday, December 31, 2024 through Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Filing Office is open from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. weekdays, except Wednesdays. Filing Office is closed on Wednesdays. Filing Office is open 8 AM – noon on December 31, 2024. Filing Office is open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2024. Candidates may file at the Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Avenue, NW, Annandale, MN. Filing fee is $2.
The last date for a candidate to withdraw from the election is Thursday,
January 16, 2024, until 5 p.m.
Absentee Voting: The Wright County Finance & Taxpayer Services Office, at the Wright County Government Center, will administer absentee voting for the March Township Election. UOVACA voting begins Friday, January 24. Regular Absentee Voting begins Friday, February 7. Voting hours will be: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 10:00 a.m.-noon and Monday, March 10, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Call Wright County at 1-763-684-2392 to apply for absentee ballots. Requests for mailed absentee ballots will also be accepted. The Wright County Government Center will be closed on Monday, February 17 for President’s Day.

FRENCH LAKE TOWNSHIP
NOTICE OF FILING PERIOD & ANNUAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of French Lake Township, County of Wright, State of Minnesota, the filing period for the position of One (1) Township supervisor opens Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 and runs through 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. This position is a 3-year term. This is the only elected official position on the ballot for the March 11th Township Elections in 2025. The Annual Meeting will immediately follow the election on March 11th, 2025 at 8:30 PM.

Notice is given that on January 30, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., a hearing will be held remotely via Zoom in this Court at 3700 Braddock Ave, Buffalo, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, January 19, 1996, (Will”), and for the appointment of William L. Triplett, as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate. Please contact Wright County Court Administration at 763-760-6300 for instructions for appearing remotely.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
