‘1,000 Words Through the Eyes of Kindergartners’

Artist spends residency in four Annandale kindergarten classrooms

In November the Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) awarded Teaching Artist Dan Gruhlke of Monticello $2,000 in support of his “1,000 Words Through the Eyes of Kindergartners” residency at Annandale Elementary School. The residency provided the opportunity to engage students in teaching photo composition techniques with point-and-shoot cameras, culminating in a student-juried photo exhibit displayed in the school hallways.
