Henry E. “Bunny” Knickerbocker

Mr. Henry E. “Bunny” Knickerbocker, 93, of rural South Haven, died Sunday, July 23, 2000 at the Annandale Care Center in Annandale.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 26 at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church Parish Center in Clearwater, the Reverend Tom Rayar officiating. Burial was at St. Luke’s Parish Cemetery in Clearwater.
He is survived by his wife Leone of South Haven, nieces, nephews and sister-in-laws.
Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers Harry, Alex and James.
Henry was born December 8, 1906 in Fairhaven Township, Stearns County, to Oliver and Mary (Mooney) Knickerbocker. He worked at the Philadelphia-Redding Coal Docks in Superior, Wisc., before he married Leone Helget on Sept. 27, 1937 in St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Clearwater. He farmed in Fairhaven Township area until his retirement in 1972. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Clearwater.
