Helen (Burkholder) Schleicher, 84, met her Lord and Savior June 4, 2021. Helen was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Edison High School. She married Kurt Schleicher in 1973 and they raised a blended family. She was a successful saleswoman in many retail businesses and co-owner of Zelda Z’s. She also became a flight attendant in her 60’s and became a master quilter receiving many honors and ribbons. Helen loved God and attended many Bible Studies as well as was part of many ministries. She brought light and energy wherever she went. She is survived by devoted husband Kurt; sisters Lois Sicora, Janet Wilson, Nancy Pestello, and brother Paul Burkholder. Survived also by daughters Denise (Mike) Banker, Sheila Ewer, Lisa McComas, son Paul Schleicher, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bruce Burkholder and son Thomas Ewer. Memorial service will be June 16, 2021, with 10 a.m. visitation, 11 a.m. service and lunch to follow.
